Look at these super cute Pom Pom Balls I ordered.
They came in these plastic bags:
Then I worked on all 8 to puff them up without tearing the paper.
Finally my son and I worked to hang them all up.

Absent Binder
Thanks to one of my favorite blogs http://www.eatwriteteach.com/, I found a free absent binder form to print. She has many great items for free.
Substitute Binder
Don't plan to be out often, but am prepared if I need to be!
I found a free editable substitute binder on teachers pay teachers at https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Free-Editable-Beach-Themed-Substitute-Binder-279672
Thank you Grade School Giggles for a great product, but I have an owl themed classroom and middle school kiddos, so I updated it for me.

Getting Organized!
Today I worked on an absent binder for students to keep up with their work when they are absent. I also worked on a substitute binder with all the rules, procedures and information a sub may need! I will take pictures when items are printed and together!
Lesson planning is always a work in progress!
Yesterday my son and I worked in the classroom!

July 21st-One Month Before School Begins
Table labels have been created and pencil jars are in place.
Classroom colors are all matching the purple paisley bulletin board.
Thanks to my cooperating teacher, I have adorable bathroom markers. When students need to go to the bathroom, they just have to grab one and put it on their desk.
My 5 year old son, Hollis, helped to put up the lunch count ribbons.
He was very proud of them!
Organization is slowly coming together.
Laptop table now in place in the front of the classroom.
Desk in-between 2 doors.
Bulletin Boards
The bulletin board behind all my favorite colors.
PURPLE PAISLEY!
This will be a math vocabulary wall!
The first set of Common Core Standards we hit in 7th grade is the number system.
One bulletin board for updating the students and the other is for any notes or reminders I may need by my desk. All colors stay with the theme!
